Our Company

We are a small cottage industry, consisting of five sister.

The decision to embark on this project was born from a labour of love. In 2007 three of our children decided on marriage and expressed a wish for seat covers to complete their venue for their special day.  Like most loving Parents, their wish was our command - well almost!

So the trawling began, after numerous quotes and searching, eventually decisions were made and samples purchased. Assured by the suppliers that the seat covers fitted all standard banqueting chairs, we were happy.  So that was that? Not quite.... Eight weeks prior to the first wedding we trialed the seat covers only to find they did not fit all the chairs. Due to most banqueting chairs being made of aluminium, we found the legs had splayed over time, leaving some chairs not fully covered and ugly metal legs sticking out under the beloved chair covers.  What were we to do? - we daren't tell the Bride as she was already overstressed and emmotional, we knew she was counting on these covers to tie her colour scheme together.

The supplier only had these standard covers and the venue only had one type of chair there was nothing for it........we had to work fast.  Fortunately, we were able to pool our resources and expertise together.  With two of us as trained tailoresses we made the decision to make our own. Two hundred seat covers with sashes were needed and so began the labour of love.

Following excellent feedback from the Venue Manager and immediate enquiries from guests about hiring our seat covers, a decision was made to offer our services and products to others.
